Set in the distant past, Gail Springer’s second novella, Escape from Urfa, is a tale of adventure, migration, the resilience of youth, and family love.

Absolutely Beautiful! This pulled me into two separate worlds, in such an incredible way that I lost touch with the present one while reading. Beautifully written, my eyes were raining at the end. HIGHLY recommend.

Great historical novella! This was a really good read, reminiscent of James Michener's The Source, but more approachable and personal. I'm looking forward to her next book!

I'm very pleased a friend recommended this book. It delicately weaves together the worlds of two artists across millennia. Their experiences/connection touched me and reminded me of the healing powers of art in its various forms.
